When you redeem a gift card at checkout, the amount is converted to your currency using the exchange rate at the time of redemption. Gift card balances are always displayed in CAD, so please keep that in mind when checking your balance.

For example: Let's say you purchase a $100 CAD gift card and you're in the United States. You pay for this gift card in USD (~$70 USD). When you create an order and pay for it using the gift card, the balance on your gift card is converted from CAD to USD, and this amount is used to pay for your order. The remaining amount on the gift card is then converted back to CAD.
